Hi!  I’m Matt, and I’m glad you stopped by my training website. I have over 15 years of experience and expertise guiding clients on their fitness journey.

I am passionate about serving others and I bring a consistent, positive attitude to helping clients and those in my community accomplish their goals.  

I’ve worked with unique individuals from all walks of life, including those with goals of: 

  • Enhanced mobility
  • Weight loss and weight gain
  • Health and wellness 
  • Prepping for a competition
  • Strength training
  • Overall fitness
  • Nutrition + meal prep guidance

The common thread among every individual, couple or family that I work with is that I want everyone to look and feel their absolute best.  

Although fitness has remained a consistent aspect of my personal and professional life, I’ve also spent time working in management, sales and contracting roles in several different industries.  I believe in building a solid foundation of honest and caring relationships and I transfer those same core values and beliefs in supporting my clients with meeting their fitness objectives over the long term. 

Outside of the gym, you will find me with my brindle-coated bulldogs, Rollie and Odin and my enormously fluffy cats, Teddy and Tater Tot.  As a Kansas City native, I’m a die-hard Chiefs and Royals fan and will often be seen cheering them on at a game or at a gathering with friends.  My life advice: “Don’t stop, keep breathing, tomorrow is not promised, eat all the cookies you can – and make sure you use all of your superpowers in your daily life.  You’re stronger than you think you are!

1:1 Training

I offer customized in-person 1:1 training which can take place at one of several well-known gyms around the Kansas City metro area, or in certain boutique gyms. When working with me 1:1, we will identify your goals, build out a plan, and make sure each workout is aimed at hitting the milestones that are most important to you.

Whether you are looking for a fully customized online program, an on-demand whole body workout, or just want advice to target a specific body part group, I have you covered with several unique options.
